Meet Manuel—better known as Manny! With his striking blue eyes and gentle soul, Manny is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart.

Life hasn't always been kind to Manny, so he can be a little shy when meeting new people. He takes a little time to feel safe, but once you've earned his trust, you'll discover one of the sweetest, most affectionate companions imaginable. He adores gentle head pats, neck scratches, and will happily lean into you for more love. Every now and then, he'll give you a little head bonk or a soft kiss, and those moments feel extra special because you know how much they mean.

Manny is a low-energy boy who enjoys the simple things in life. His favourite place is wherever his people are. Whether he's curled up on the floor, stretched out on a blanket, or snoozing beside you on the couch, he's happiest simply being near the people he loves. He's not much of a toy enthusiast (at least not yet!), but we're hopeful he'll discover a favourite someday.

He's also a bit of a foodie... on his own terms! Manny can be a picky eater, but when he finds something he enjoys, his excitement is impossible to miss. He also feels most comfortable eating when his people are nearby.

Walks through quiet neighbourhoods or peaceful parks are where Manny truly shines. Busy roads and heavy traffic can make him nervous, but surrounded by nature, his confidence grows, his tail comes up, and you get to see the happy, relaxed dog hiding beneath his timid exterior.

Manny is fully potty trained, is comfortable in his crate, and politely ignores other dogs and cats. He isn't looking for animal friends—he simply prefers to do his own thing.

Manny would thrive in a calm, patient home where he isn't left alone for long periods and can continue building his confidence at his own pace. He'll need a family who understands that trust takes time, but the reward is an incredibly loyal, gentle companion who will love you with his whole heart.
