Rainey is a 53 lb, medium-sized, 9-month-old bundle of youthful enthusiasm, sweetness, and love. He’s at that wonderful age where curiosity and affection meet, and his personality continues to blossom every day.

Rainey is always up for an adventure or a cozy snuggle once the day winds down. His obedience training is coming along nicely, and he’s making great progress with loose-leash walking.

He is crate trained and happily dashes into his crate when he thinks dinner might be coming — it’s one of his many adorable quirks. Rainey is eager to please, loves toys, enjoys affection, and thrives on human connection.

Rainey warms up quickly to new people, and we have no doubt he’ll grow into a fiercely loyal and loving companion for years to come.

He has a clean bill of health, no known allergies, and absolutely loves exploring trails and getting out for walks. We believe he could do well in either a detached home or an apartment, as long as his exercise and enrichment needs are met.

Rainey’s ideal home is one that will continue the structure, training, and regular exercise he’s been thriving with. He is currently doing wonderfully with his foster’s resident dog and loves playing with her.

Due to his bouncy, puppy-like energy, Rainey would do best in a home without small children, where he can continue learning polite manners at his own pace.
