Moses was a little unsure of his new surroundings at first, but with a bit of love and reassurance, his amazingly gentle nature came right through! He is a dream to have around the house—he politely lays just outside the kitchen while you cook (no vocal begging, just sweet puppy-dog eyes!), loves showing off his sit and “shake a paw” tricks at mealtime, and sleeps like an angel on his bed all night. He is currently polishing up his loose-leash walking skills as he settles into life outside the shelter, but his eager-to-please personality makes him a joy to guide.

If I was ready to have a dog full-time, Moses is the perfect candidate. My mom visited me for three days from out of town and she’s not a big dog person, but she praised how well behaved and such a good boy he is.
