Meet the cutest little Skippy! 

 

Age: 1 years old

Male, weight: 12 lbs

Breed: chihuahua cross

Dogs and cats: Skippy would prefer to be the only dog in the household, cats open to testing

Kids: would do best in an adult only home

 

Skippy has been one of the lucky dogs to have sponsored training through BFF! So we will only adopt out to a committed family who’s willing to continue his training and have him be the best version of himself.

 

He’s a very smart dog and catches on quickly. Personality wise skippy is a quirky and funny little dog. He is ultra soft, and really likes to be pet and snuggled. Skippy has learned how to walk nicely on leash and pass by other dogs without reacting.

 

He is an expert napper inside the house, but if you want to go for a walk, he’d like nothing more than to join you. Skippy is very cute with a silly little underbite. Don’t let his small size fool you, he’s got big personality. He is fully crate trained, excellently potty trained and has a clean bill of health.

 

We do not know of any allergies and he does fine in the car. Skippy is a wonderful dog but he does take a beat to warm up to new people, once he knows you, he’s super happy to be friends, so someone with that rescue mindset that understands good things take a bit of time. He prefers a core group of human friends - he’s not a socialite.
