Molly’s story almost ended far too soon. This beautiful young pittie mix was scheduled to be euthanized at Downey Shelter, and her time was nearly up — but thankfully, she was scooped up just in time. Now safe and thriving, Molly is ready for the second chance she so deeply deserves.

At just 1 year old, Molly is full of life, joy, and potential. She’s playful, affectionate, and incredibly smart, with a genuine eagerness to learn and please. Molly has already mastered several basic obedience commands, including sit, place, and down, and she continues to impress with how quickly she picks things up.

Molly loves getting outside and enjoys her daily walks. She would make a wonderful walking or hiking companion for someone who enjoys being active and spending time outdoors. After exercise, she’s happy to relax and soak up affection from her people — she truly thrives on human connection.

Molly would do best as the centre of attention in her home and is looking for a household without other dogs or cats. She will thrive with a family that can continue her current training, provide consistent guidance, and offer her plenty of love, structure, and reassurance.
